About the Artist

Hi there! I'm Viridi, an Illustrator and Graphic Designer based out of western Canada.

As someone who originally wanted trained to be a professional Ballerina, I've been passionate about art my whole life. I didn't start drawing until I was about 13 and discovered the internet beyond the kid-safe spaces I grew up with. After that and discovering ways to create digitally, I fell completly in love with illustration, animation and design. My dreams of ballet ended up falling through, and so began my new dream of being a digital artist.

Viridi Zed started as a Vtuber project (originaly 'Viridi Zedikian' and 'Viridi in Dreamland') that didn't come to fruition, and instead turned into how I present myself online. This includes my avatar and general branding. The name Viridi is a shortned form of the word viridian (a shade of blue-green).

I love cute things, ethereal vibes, psychological horror and collecting useless plastic junk.
